My Approach
A warm, supportive, therapeutic relationship is the foundation for development and growth. I utilize a combination of empathic listening, humor, and playfulness to connect with clients. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to the developmental stage, presenting symptoms and goals of the individual.
Working from a primarily cognitive-behavioral (CBT) orientation, I draw from my experience and training in a variety of evidence-based interventions, including:

-
Collaborative Problem Solving
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-
Social Thinking
-
Zones of Regulation
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
-
Exposure and Response Prevention
-
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)

In my work with parents and caregivers, I see our relationship as a true partnership, where we collaborate to find the best ways to support both you and your child. You know your child better than anyone, and I bring a strong foundation in child development and evidence-based approaches to treatment. Together, we’ll tailor the treatment to your family's unique needs. As a parent of two very different children myself, I understand that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting. Every family’s dynamic is shaped by the child’s temperament and development, as well as the caregivers' experiences. My role is to be a guide and a collaborator, helping us draw on everyone's strengths to ensure your child has the support they need to thrive.
